* District 96 & Abomination *
SO MANY BEERS SO LITTLE TIME.
Fruited aroma & a subtle, pleasing earthy bottom. No hop info but an immediate burst of peach, citrus & tropical flavors that bounce in a soft body. This aspect is continuous & becomes enhanced as you venture further in becoming completely blended. Any bittering is relegated for the most part to the signature District96 ending.
Yet another reason to try this brewers offerings.
SO MANY BEERS SO LITTLE TIME.
3 hops (Motueka, Pac Sun & Citra)
Dirty, earthy Motueka aroma that explodes into a multi flavored craft slightly tart. Soft body with minimal
*Return to Home*bittering. Flavors weave back & forth between tropical & citrus leading to an earthy aspect towards sip end. Achieving equilibrium comes from holding each sip.
Motueka is a difficult hop to pair let alone get right but is accomplished here.
A signature District 96 craft
3 hops (Citra, Columbus 7 Idaho 7)
Deep earthy fruit aroma. Soft body with light to medium carbonation. Bittering is medium start to finish but does surrender to flavors of orange & apricot. Resinous notes of Idaho 7 float aimlessly in a weave of its choosing never though intruding. Earthy bittering returns to end each sip. ABV is identifiable at this point as well. Another TIPA from a brewer skilled at this style.
1 hop (Mimosa)
Orange & tropical aromas peek out from a clear WC style pour which is in no way an indication of what's next. Medium carbonation & virtually no bittering. Flavors blend lightly into the above but let you know that is the big dog in the yard through each sip. A subtle dry finish. All temps are appealing to this offering
3 hops (Citra, Mosaic & something else unknown)
Dirty pineapple aroma makes an interesting beginning A difference of opinions as to hop 3 (Nelson or Simcoe). Anchored by the known 2 brings us a taste of orange & pineapple in a very creamy soft body. Medium carbonation & when sip is held grape notes surface making a vote for Nelson.
Regardless, this is a flavor forward craft with minimal bittering destined for enjoyment from all camps
No hop info.
Dirty aroma begins our sojourn into a soft body & earthy notes with medium carbonation & bittering. All this gives way to orange flavor that weaves through the offering which is enhanced as you go & remains consistent throughout. Light backend bittering & a subtle note of spice complete the balance which is satisfying in all areas of hop contribution.
Tropical fans will look elsewhere while all others will find this another quality offering from this brewer
2 hops (Sabro & Citra)
A Sabro tropical aroma . Light bittering which remains consistent throughout & mixes with flavor profiles being light coconut, tropical & citrus in no particular order. A soft creamy body creates the base for the above.
Very mellow start to finish. A subtle hint of vanilla was a nice touch to the ending. Balance is well done. Colder was preferred.
A candidate for hazy & tropical camps
5 hops (Mosaic, Citra, Pacific Jade, Summit & Nelson)
Earthy dry aroma with light fruit notes woven in. This follows through in flavor aspects of orange, citrus & tropical with light Summit & Pacific Jade bittering & herbal layers. Nelson provides a semi dry finish. All hop contributions are evident But DDHing Sees that nothing overwhelms the senses.
A bit more "pronounced" than other offering in the Fog series but this multi hop IPA achieves the desired result.

1 hop (Krush) Formerly HBC-586.
Intense aroma that teases you into a medium carbonated, brightly flavored offering. Guava is the dominant flavor with layered herbal notes that prop up each sip. Additional notes of light melon & citrus start to shine as you go. The signature bittering solidifies this as the newest member of the "Fog" family
A hop that weaves a tapestry of flavor, bittering & herbal notes that all camps may want to try.
1 hop (Galaxy)
Peach & citrus aromas start & tempt you in. Flavors match the aroma buoyed by a soft body, light conditioning & balanced bittering. Consistent from start to finish. A nuanced earthy note completes the offering.
We have had this craft from time to time for a number of years & it has converted unknown numbers to craft beer world. Don't miss it this time
