Bradford Village Beer & Soda's

So Many Beers So Little Time

English & European style ales & pilsners

Classic English hops produce a higher IBU & earthier aspects. Yeast strains impart a fruity flavor. This style has a maltier presence in aroma & flavor. Body will be crisp as opposed to soft. ABV is usually lower.

Mikerphone (IL) Hey Mambo Italian Pilsner 5%

SO MANY BEERS SO LITTLE TIME

Toasty malt aroma. Carbonation is medium/high & creates an enhanced platform for flavor that will dominate going forward that being floral & light orange. Hop bittering arrives late in each sip common to the style.

 A bit more enhanced in all aspects than other Italian pilsners but nicely bright & crushable

Jacks Abby (MA) Modern Pils

SO MANY BEERS SO LITTLE TIME

  2 hops ( Spalter Select & Tettnang)

 Cool hopped & Naturally carbonated. 

 A full malt, toasty aroma. Light soft body & medium carbonation begins the offering. Light bittering is the 1st aspect noticed but all the above contributions provide a space for flavor which is floral & completes each sip. A lightly spiced ending.

 A well done example of a European pilsner.

Equilibrium (NY) Helix 5%

SO MANY BEERS SO LITTLE TIME

 4 hops 9 Hallertau, Perle, Citra lupomax & Amarillo)

 Grassy malty pilsner aroma. Light to medium carbonation in a crisp body. Floral notes will begin you journey & remain a constant. Bittering is pilsner & joins in to travel along with the above. Toasty malt base is the 3rd companion & creates a balanced offering. Hops are whirl pooled & all aspects are independently apparent. An intriguing mix creating a pilsner enjoyable & different start to finish

Evil Twin (NY) Greenhouse German Pils 5%

1 hop (Calista)  Aged in American Oak

Callista is primarily an aroma hop but can impart fruit notes in flavor.

 Toasty, malty aroma with biscuit notes. Quite effervescing as is customary in this style. Body is crisp & clean. 

 Conditioning in oak imparts a deeper layer of flavor when blended with honey creating depth of aspects.

 Hoppy undertones are a blend of floral with light bittering.  Finishes lightly.

 An interesting twist on an old style.

Notch (VT) French Disko French style Pilsner 4.5%

1 hop (Strisselspalt)

 Spunded & open fermented

  A light malt aroma. Body is light & crisp. Toasty & sweet floral flavor with very light bittering on the end. Flavor opens up as the offering warms.

Very crushable & a pleasant change from your normal pilsner awaits you with this offering.

Guilford Hall (MD) British Ale

 1 hop (Cascade)  Whirlpooled to provide more flavor and less vegetal residue.

  Malty toasty aroma greet you. Flavor is a combination of light fruit & malts with medium bittering & carbonation.

 Blending becomes more pronounced as this warms becoming more influenced by floral & fruit aspects in flavoring. 

 Crisp & clean as a British ale is supposed to be.
