4 hops (Citra, Amarillo, Galaxy & El Dorado) Dry hopped
A soft pungent mixed aroma. Amarillo while not dominant seems prevalent in its aspects from herbal to bittering & flavor contributions beginning with the initial light herbal notes that then mix with flavors of pineapple , peach & citrus that come forward as you go. While the body is soft it's also lightly dry. All aspects are nicely layered & make multiple appearances throughout each sip giving this craft balance. Warmer enhances flavor
2 hops (Idaho 7 and Citra)
Idaho 7 is an aroma hop whirlpooled here to extract more oils and enhance flavor profiles. Light in nature start to finish. Bittering is noticed but not out front. Flavors of citrus and melon make an appearence and blend into the above. While neither aspect dominate they create a weave and a light spiced ending is icing on the cake.
All aspects are balanced and light enough to be refreshing vs heavy
4 hops (Citra, Strata, El Dorado & Mosaic )
Multiple fruit aromas that we know these hops impart. Orange & pineapple flavors mix into the extremely soft body and mouthfeel. Light carbonation & bittering with a light earthy finish. Strata brings a nuanced spice aspect that keeps this craft interesting when it mixes into the ending.
ABV is quite noticeable but never interferes with any aspect of the offering.
Well done & worth a try but keep it at 1 per session.
A 2 hop ( mosaic and Citra)
This is always a great hop pairing as we know. Deep multiple fruit aspects in the aroma. Creamy and rich beginning to end. Fruit flavors from both hops are magnified and identifiable individually and Mosaic completes the offering with a light bitter earthy ending. Because of the quality of this craft you don't know the ABV is creeping up on you which happens quickly.
Another nicely balanced quality offering from this brewer
3 hops (Citra, Strata and Mosaic)
These 3 always seem to pair well together. Let's find out.
Subtle malt aspects peek out from behind earthy orange and light pine aroma. Light carbonation and lightly crisp body. Consistent light bittering mixes equally with Citra and Mosaic flavors and create a nice balance. A spiced semi dry finish does no harm. Colder is preferred for this craft.
Probably the lightest WC offering yet reviewed. If you shy away from this style step in and try this offering.
4 hops (Citra, Simcoe, Falconer flight and El Dorado)
Grapefruit dominant aroma with tropical backround notes. Lightly tart beginning and medium carbonation. This gives way to tropical aspects these hops impart. minimal bittering. A mystery actor weaves all contributions together helped by a soft body. While being labeled IPA, this is also a candidate for hazy IPA. Fans in these camps shouldn't' pass this by
3 hops (Citra, Mosaic & Falconer Flight)
Falconer Flight is a blend of 7 Northwest Pacific hops.
Late additions imparts an aroma of mixed fruit with earthy undertones. Medium carbonation & a light crisp yet soft body. Orange notes dominate & lead the way with light flavors of melon & a perfect earthy Mosaic ending.
What you smell is what you get which is a balanced craft that doesn't disappoint.
3 hops (Nelson, Nectaron & Riwaka) All are high myrcene oil hops & when used late in the boil enhance aroma & flavor.
Pungent grape & citrus aroma. Full body & well blended between hops. Light bittering achieves balance. Flavors of pineapple & grape fill each sip & remain dominant start to finish. Nelson provides a light dry ending.
ABV is present at each sip end but kicks in right away.
A heavy hitter to be sure & one to have hanging around for those times you want this style.
Light grapefruit aroma with other fruit side notes. Hold the sip and surprisingly El Dorado jumps into the lead with grape flavors & softens the offering letting orange come to play & simcoe providing light bittering mixing with earthy Mosaic aspects .A soft body and late to the game carbonation round out the craft.
All contributors mix into an enjoyable craft
